High waisted with a great fit. Gives you a nice waistline, falls above the ankle...bought the pink and wished I purchased in the other 2 colors. Im 5'7 140 pounds and size 8 is perfect for me.
So, the overall the pant is pretty. Fabrics is thin, so I am not sure if will be transparent. The waist is small, I normally use size 12 from banana republic and for this I would bought size 14 or bigger. Consider buy a bigger number than yours.

The pants are nice and I like the color, but they too short. I'm 5'7 and they hit well above the ankle. If you are tall consider getting the tall sizing.

I wish for the Ponte pants without front pockets and more light twill high rise for the summer. A little less cropped pants and pull on pants. Less cropped shirts and more long sleeve shirts for summer. Every year the sun gets hotter and so cancer is on the rise

I ordered an XS which is my typical size. I'm 5'3" and 105 lbs. But the XS waist was way too tight on me. Also I didn't like how the pockets flared out a little making the hip area look wide. Pant material was very good quality.
