By 2023 We Aim To Use 100% More Sustainable Cotton. We define more sustainable cotton as including Better Cotton (formerly BCI), verified US-grown cotton (USCTP), organic, in-conversion (to verified organic), recycled and regenerative. 97% of our goal.
By 2023 We Aim To Use 50% More Sustainable Fibers. Sourcing more sustainable cotton, partnering with CanopyStyle compliant suppliers to source preferred man-made cellulosics. Sourcing recycled and responsible wool from vendors that are compliant under the Resonsible Wool Standards; organic linen and recycled polyester. 65% of our goal.
By 2023 We Aim To Use 100% More Sustainable Denim. Focusing on water savings via Gap Inc.'s Washwell Program, which uses at least 20% less water in the garment wash process compared to conventional techniques. Sourcing more sustainable fibers, using more sustainable dye methods such as foam dye, more eco-friendly finishes such as laser technology, and trims made from recycled materials. 83% of our goal.
