I bought this polo because I am at a stage in life where I want to look like I have my act together, without actually doing the work required to have my act together. This shirt delivers. First of all, the fabric. This is not one of those flimsy polos that feels like it was woven by anxious squirrels. This thing has heft. You put it on and immediately feel like you should own a boat, or at least know someone who does. The fit is excellent—"classic," which I believe is fashion industry code for "you can eat pasta and still breathe." It hangs just right: not too tight, not too baggy, and crucially, not doing that thing where it makes you look like a substitute math teacher who gave up in 1997. The collar—this "Johnny collar" situation—is a bold move. It says, "I am relaxed, but I also read books with hard covers." No buttons, no nonsense. Just confidence. I wore this shirt and my wife looked at me the way she used to look at me before we had to start discussing things like fiber intake and whether we should own a second set of reading glasses. In summary: Feels expensive Fits great Makes you look like a slightly better version of yourself Five stars. Will absolutely wear again, especially in situations where I want people to assume I understand wine.
