Took a flyer on a final sale, and am so glad I sized up from 4 to 6 based on reviews. It fits perfectly. What a fun skirt. I wish the top were still availabile. I am 5'4" 126 lbs.
Well, it's definitely gold. Based on the photo, I was expecting something like a burnished gold, an old gold coloration. Even a tarnished antique gold. But I would compare it to shiny gold lamé from the 80's/90's. I opened the package and knew I would never wear this, even at the holidays. I ordered... on a final sale. This is the risk you take for the lower sale price. Thank goodness I sew. I've decided to turn the skirt into Holiday throw pillows. You know when you get the glitter stuff out for two or three weeks and then put it back in storage. It's either this, or straight to Goodwill where someone can find it for a Halloween costume. I'll give the pillows a try. lol. I gave it two stars because the skirt at least cost less than fabric these days.

This skirt was a complete letdown. The fit is ugly, horrible, and shockingly unflattering. The metallic fabric emphasizes all the wrong places, and the cut has no structure or shape. It looks great online, but in person it's stiff, awkward, and impossible to style. Definitely not worth the purchase.

I read the reviews and sized up...even then the waist is still tight. I bought it on final sale so I guess I'm stuck with it. The fabric is light weight which is fine for me since I live in the tropics but may be too light outside of spring/summer temperatures.
