#sweepstakes I ordered these pants in a size regular extra small. I am normally a size zero or a size two. I am 5'4" tall. The pants were a little long for me, but nothing that a small wedge or heel on a boot couldn't fix. I ordered them in the navy and the tan. I decided to send the tan back, b...ecause they looked more of like a December holiday style fabric (the shine) than the navy. These pants are super soft, but the material is substantial so they can be worn in warmer winter weather as well as in the spring, fall, and cooler summer nights. The navy's material is more muted, (less shine) making them a day or night pant. They drape beautifully. They are super comfortable, too. I wore them all day while babysitting my granddaughter. I found them to be a little big in the waist for me, but the waist band ties, so I just had to tie them tighter to keep them up where I wanted them so that the hem wasn't dragging too much. I would say these would probably need a hem for shorter, tiny girls, while women who are taller will appreciate the length on these! I really cannot say enough good things about these stylish, comfy, dress up-or-down pants! I paired them with the current navy/blue floral twill shirt they have, but also cannot wait to pair them with a navy and white striped sweater or a nicer white boucle or hoodie sweater. Green would add some preppy flair with these, too! #sweepstakes
I purchased the satin cargo pants from last year or maybe the year before and ended up donating them to make room in my closet. I regretted it almost immediately and bought these pants hoping they could serve as a replacement. The fabric is very different with these - I didn't like it. Looked and f...elt cheap. I returned them.

I overall like the fit, but the pockets are horribly designed - I cannot get them to lie flat at the bottom corners, no matter how much ironing I do.

These pants are really beautiful - I don't think the photo does them justice. They are a heavier weight as others have noted. They are slightly longer than the photo - I am a 10-12 and got the L tall for a more relaxed look. Since they are wide leg and drawstring, could have probably gone with the M tall.

I bought all the colors! They can be going out pants, lounge pants. Casual and also dressy. The fabric is thick, soft, and drapey with a subtle shimmer that works in daytime. It's not a shiny satin that looks cheap or tacky. VERY relaxed fit. It's not a stretch fabric so the pattern includes extra width to enable pulling them on. I initially got XS, and while they're ok, the XXS is actually perfect. My waist is 27", my hips 35" and XXS is a Goldilocks loose fit. One size down is flatteringly less extra fabric around the waist, hips and especially in the seat.
