I really, really, really wanted to like this. I am 5'4", weigh 115 lbs., normally wear an XS or a SM, and am a size 34D chest. I ordered a size small in this. When I lifted up my arms, belly was slightly exposed even with high wasted pants. I didn't want that, so back to the store it went. If i...t goes on sale again, I will order in a medium and see if that helps. It fit everywhere else perfectly; it was just about an inch or two too short. I ordered the green color and it was as shown in the pics. I loved the style so much that I would have ordered it in three colors if I could convince myself I liked the fit (and I could not.) The material is very soft, and this looks way better than a sweatshirt (although it's just as comfy as one.) If you don't mind crop, this is for you!
I really loved that this was an upgrade to a normal hoodie and was so glad to have gotten the matching pants while they were on sale. Unfortunately, I received a used item. When I first tried it on I noticed writing on the tag and one hair. I thought that was weird but paid it no mind, then looked c...loser and it was completely covered in fur. As expensive as this brand is I'd expect they check their merchandise better. I wanted to exchange for a new one but it is all sold out. I would hate for this sweater to get thrown away but what if someone had animal allergies?

I like this hoodie so much I have it in cream and in green, and I couldn't resist this color for the sale price. The color Pale Jasmine is less pink and has less blue than I thought it would, but it's fine...it goes with pretty much anything I have. I have short arms, so I have to roll up the sleeves, and it's fine. It's comfortable with a light T-shirt underneath, but that's about it. If you wear glasses, it would be wise to remove them before putting the sweater on over your head, unless you already do that. I don't and I'm a tangled mess lol I do wish, as I did with the other sweaters, that it had some small functional pockets in the front, something you can stick your hands in while you walk, nothing distracting, just something small for your hands. Then I think it would be perfect, maybe... Oh, and when I washed the cream colored one, inside out, in a sweater bag, gentle cycle, the sweater came out with bing-bings all over it....too many for me to pick off one by one. I had to buy one of those bing-bing shavers, which I needed anyway. I haven't washed the green one yet... I don't know if it was the way I did things or if it is the sweater itself... time will tell :D

The fabric and styling is very nice. However, the sizing runs short and a little small as does most of the items I've ordered from Banana Republic Factory this year. I'm 5'10" and slender. I ordered a medium which was a little small but very short in the arms and waist. I would call it braclet sleeve length and cropped.

I plan on wearing this luxe hoodie with a pair of cream linen pants. What a cute hoodie! The color and texture upgrades this garment and it feels more dressy than casual, depending on what you pair it with. It's soft and doesn't look boxy on. Love, love this piece!
