In the 1955 film, To Catch A Thief, the great Cary Grant wore a dark blue pin striped sweater over a pair of blue light weight trousers. It became iconic. After having watched the film over a dozen times I decided to give the look a try. Banana Republic had the sweater! I ordered it, it fit perfectly; ironically the BR blue glen plaid tapered ankle pants which I recently had purchased totally completed the look. Now, I'm ready for the French Riviera.

I love the sweater and will be wearing it with my BR slim tapered blue glen plaid pants and a tan loafer. If you see someone scurrying across the rooftop of a luxury hotel, don't worry it will be me.
