I usually go with size S in BR sweaters for a comfortable fit. But, in this case I got an XS for a more fitted/polished look because I want to wear with dress pants. The size is perfect (I am 5 1",115 lbs) for what I need. If I wanted to wear a white t-shirt under this, I would have gone up a s...ize.
First of all, I love almost everything I've ever bought from banana Republic and banana Republic factory. But….I Do NOT recommend!!! The bright pink color of this sweater is fantastic, the fit is good. I went oversized on purpose sizing up to a large from my usual medium. It's soft and comfortable. ...However… after the very first cold water wash in a laundry bag, no less…& layed flat: an UNREAL amount of pilling first wash. So many little pieces of bright pink yarn coming off all over everything. It looks like I've had it for years and it looks very low quality literally after one wash after just one wearing. Do not recommend this fabric at all!

This began pilling before I even worse it. I love the color but not the material.
