I've always been a hard-to-size guy, and I have very high hips. I have been searching far and wide for some high-waisted pants that actually rest on my natural waist and don't break the bank, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how well these fit. It's hard to find pants with anything more than a... 10" rise, but these have 13-14! They're comfortable, soft, breathable, and I love the cream color with a darker top. I will definitely be getting more of these and similar pants in the future.
I agree with the comment that these were large. Also shapeless and thin. The stretch in all directions makes like rather like clown pants. Unwearable for me. Since they were marked No Return, I am stuck. Online chat only recommended mailing back so that company could check to see if pants were "defe...ctive"--that obviously would not work. I have purchased many pants from Banana Republic, but I will have to donate or throw these away. I strongly do not recommend them.

For a straight fit I thought they were a little more loose than most brands, but the overall look is still great. I would like to see another color of these, where it's a little less res/purple in the brown, but overall great look and feel.
