These shirts don't shrink nearly as much as the luxe touch shirts, so I recommend getting one size down from whatever size you'd wear with the luxe touch.
I bought the same signature mid-weight t-shirt less than a year ago and was very happy with the quality. Just bought a few more and the black ones are about 1/2 the weight and clearly made of thinner material while the white shirts are still as they used to. Photo shows new shirts (top) and old (b...ottom).

Review is not about the shirt , rather the order itself. I ordered three shirts . The package arrived with one correct shirt and two shirts that were not ordered and the wrong sizes. I don't know who runs the Banana Republic Distribution operation. The order was a total mess , who ever picked & shipped the order didn't look at item or didn't care. When I call Customer Care , the items were no longer in-stock.

I tried this on without washing. It feels rather lightweight so I don't know about "midweight". It's an okay shirt but for a midweight I'd like it to hang well when I wear it.
