This version of the Empire Waist design is quite feminine with satisfactory Rayon like Fabric is a welcomed addition to Banana Republic Factory. I purchased the available Yellow and Brown colours in Medium Petite and Large Petite gifted to my Sister. Because the design included a upper Waist Tie... belt, we decided the overall size and shape would fit to adjust any excess fabric. Standing at 5 feet and usual size Medium Petite, the MP fits best. However the Most Disappointing Factor was the Length. Lengthwise the dress was at Ankle Length. Definitely not a Midi. Definitely not Petite Length.
Fabric is thin and clingy and the pockets make so much extra fabric making this really unflattering and frumpy looking! Love the sleeves though
