I, for one, love that the turtleneck on this IS NOT as slouchy as some other BRF sweaters. Slouchy looks sloppy. The fabric itself is pretty, and the colors are lovely, but it feels like very scratchy wool, so if you have skin sensitivity, you should pass. One review said that this is the softest s...weater ever. That couldn't be further from the truth. It isn't soft. It is definitely scratchy. Is it the most flattering sweater? Winter sweaters are not particularly flattering as a whole, but I like this one. It isn't super thick and has a bit of a drape. I'm 5'7, and I sized down one... could likely have sized down twice to the xxs, but I didn't want to lose length. That probably wasn't an option anyway. I can lift my arms all the way up and not show my belly... just barely, and the width is still a bit oversized. What is with the wide underarm area on sweaters? I can't wait until that era ends. The xs is 44" around under the arms, and the waist and hip are about 40, so... pretty large for an xs. The sleeves themselves don't have a ton of extra room, but the fabric does stretch. I wore the cream sweater under a heavy black wool blazer with a long sleeve thin layer underneath, and that was warm enough for a cold night and looked great. When I took the blazer off, I looked a little beefy (lots of pics were taken that night, and I look a little puffy in the sweater without the blazer - I attribute that to the extra fabric under the arms.... an xs should be at least 8" smaller under the arms, even if considered a relaxed fit). I'm typically a size 4 and need an xs in most of BRF sweaters. #sweepstakes
This one broke my heart a bit! I loved the look and color of the sweater - it's really lovely and the turtleneck is perfect, substantial but too much. However, as a tall girl, the torso is just too short for me to pull off. If I raise my arms, my stomach is exposed, even with higher rise pants. I so... wish BR would offer a few staple sweaters in tall sizes like they used to do back in the day. I'd be able to buy so much more! Unfortunately, this one is going back. But I'd still recommend it for anyone shorter than I.

This sweater is the softest! I have ordered two and wear them frequently. The fit is perfect and the soft fit of the turtle neck design is very comfortable and looks great. I have it in white and blue and watch for the sales so I can get a soft blue one. I would order black if it was available in my size.

Ordered this sweater on DECEMBER 8, 2025. Still haven't received it. Chat bot told me that I can't cancel the order and get a refund. Was directed to file a claim but geez, can't do that either since it's been more than 30 days since placing my order. Enjoy my hard earned money, Banana Republic. Shame on you.
