At first I thought they were too heavy, but once I steamed them and wore them, I loved! They are high waisted, so with the proper size, they sit perfectly. They have stitched down pleats, which I love. There is one weird pop on the lower hips, but not significant enough to make a difference for me....
5'1, 130 lbs, about 28 inch waist, typical size is 4-6 in BR. I bought these in both 4 & 6. The 6 fit better in the waist, the length was fine, and there it ended. Way too much material in the front area, they almost looked like clown pants. The pockets were ridiculously long, when I put my hands...

OMG!! Love, love, love the fit, fabric and feel of these luxe pants. The material is smooth. Pockets do not pucker and the flow of the pants appears tailored. I purchased tall, although I'm 5'6'', because I like extra space in the waist that BR's straight pant gives me. The Ultra High-Rise tucks me in. Just lovely!
