Usually have issues with shorts of this length, being long waisted and short legged. These are great if you are narrow hipped with a non-existent or minimal bum. Rolled up the cuffs to make them about 6-7" inseam. Nice darker color. Cute with sneakers or loafers and sleeveless button up shirts for a... preppy look. Think my measurements are listed in the review, for reference. Final sale, so took a chance. Only negative is an itchy back label, but that is why we own seam rippers, right, to remove them.
Do not buy these if you're short and very skinny. They are not made for petite people. At 5'1 the high waist is huge and goes up to the bottom of my rib cage and still levels a 3" gap and makes a big space in the crotch that hangs too low. Legs are huge. These do not fit like a size 25"at all. Pleas...e bring back low rise or at least medium rise shorts.

I have size 24 Bermuda shorts that I bought in past years. I went ahead and got 25's as 24's weren't available. I like the high waist, but these run really large through the hips and thighs. Before these were slimmer in the hips and thighs, but I'm guessing there's been a change in design. Sadly, they will be donated and someone will be happy.

I have other clothing from BR in petite and with a 25 inch waist. These shorts are huge! I wonder if BR hasn't changed their sizes as some recent jeans I bought also were larger than expected. Very disappointing.

I really don't love them. They are hard to pull up as the waist is smaller or the zipper is short - something about them makes them a problem to put on and take off. If they weren't final sale I would have returned them.

I do love the color and length of these but there's some issues. Got these in a size 2, I have a short torso so they hit the smallest part of my waist, the fit there is great, it was just a little difficult to get over my thighs as this denim is not stretchy. Not a lot of room for booty, the way these are cut seems to push my butt down into the two leg areas where there's a little more room so it kinda feels like wearing a g string. I'm afraid I might not be able to wear these for long if I gain more thigh and glute muscle.
