Beautiful A-line corduroy skirt. The colors are very rich and don't disappoint. The fabric is a fine wale that's lightweight yet it still feels substantial and allows movement. I would consider this midi skirt as an all-season item that will transition well despite the fall colors. If your body ty...pe is thicker in the rear and midsection I would recommend to size up as there is not much stretch. I chose size 6. I'm 5'2 ant 125lbs but have ample hips and rear and small waist. The waist is a tad too large. the hip area fit nicely but was more snug than I prefer. The size 6 fit well and loosened more throughout the day, but still held its shape well, without wrinkles or that saggy/baggy look. There was a bit of gap between the 2nd and 3rd buttons but I corrected this by adding a snap button inside to hold that area together. FYI- if you look closely at the online photos, you can see the gap on the brown and green colors.
I wanted to like these skirts very much and was hoping for good quality corduroy. I even ordered three skirts in different colors. But they were returned because the fabric is very thin and feels horribly cheap. The skirt does not hang as much it sits on you rigidly and creases if you even look at i...t. The poor quality of the corduroy is similar to what is used in the pants, now, and which has deteriorated seriously over a few years (for plusher corduroy pants try L*O*F*T - psa).
