Thick, soft cotton, the tag on the neck is itchy i wish it was imprinted instead many option colors
Overall the shirt has a good fit, length etc. in sizes XS and S and a good feel. BUT there is a clear oversight in how they finish the hem at the waist. I've unfortunately noticed this in a number of BR's tops recently. This is a manufacturing problem. They"re using some kind of stitch and or thre...ad that has no elasticity to it. It's especially noticeable when you take off the shirt. When you grab and pull, because this is a fixed stitch, you immediately feel it not stretching and the stitch tends to pop and break. Already had this happen on a BR tank I otherwise love the design off. This shirt has it too and the problem persists in the cuffs of the sleeves here too. The one cuff broke immediately when just trying this shirt on the first time. Again, otherwise the fit and the short is great though. Hate that this bring it down. BR please correct this problem.

silky finish fades away after first wash. I wash in cold water and no schooling soap. Also the neck area wrinkles bit to much after washing.

I bought about 10 of these to use as my work uniform. They're comfortable overall, but I do have one concern: after the first wash, the "silky" look and finish disappears, and the collars start to bend and wrinkle in a way that doesn't look good when worn.
