Definitely runs big, I'm 5'4 and currently 160 lbs (thank you menopause). After reading reviews I took a chance ordering small instead of medium and while they fit snug but comfy I am working on getting back to my ideal weight of 130 and they will fit like I prefer- loose and comfy. Casual for a Tee... and sneakers, stylish enough for work with nice blouse or sweater. Fabric is slightly stiff at first but washes up nicely. Large front pockets are set nicely with detailed stitching, and can hold my cell phone. Back pockets are perfect size with flap that stays in place and doesn't crinkle or stay up like other ones I have had. I got them in black, navy and khaki. The strings are longer than most and maybe I will like them better when I lose some weight. I hope to see more colors, like gray. I will be ordering those too!
I made a special trip to the store just to try these on since the description says these run big so I wasn't sure on size. I'm 5'4", 133lbs and am usually a size 4/28/Small with extra weight around my stomach. I tried on both XS and S and they both fit terrible. The XS did fit around the waist so it...'s generous there, but the "mid rise" felt pretty low rise to me and was really uncomfortable. Additionally, they were so unflattering with the leg shape and did nothing for my butt. Maybe these could work on someone with a more hourglass shaped with thicker legs to fill out? The only nice thing about these is the material which is very nice and heavier than I was expecting. So sad because I really wanted to like them.

These are one of my go-to pants. Super comfortable and versatile. Flattering fit. Please bring back in black. I would love to purchase more.

I ordered an XXS regular size depite my 4' 11" height as I wanted the legs to cover my ankles. This was fortunate because the weight/thickness of the fabric was heavier than expected. A heavier fabric works for fall and cooler spring days when I can feel the New England winds whipping. The disadvantage of the heavy material is the bulkiness of the waistband. It made the elasticized waist appear thicker which is not flattering. Belt loops would have been nice to cinch in the waist. On the plus side, the material is very smooth; I appreciate the tapered legs and the deep pockets were perfect for carrying my phone. The sale price was great.

Descriptions say runs big. For me it is perfect for those who like to dress loose. I would have bought it in other colors if available! I like the fit, fabric, length and deep front pockets.

I bought two pairs, by mistake because the price was great, and do not regret.

These are SO baggy and oversized. I'm 5'3 and 125 lbs and ordered medium. They are ENORMOUS. The thighs especially look just so wide and sloppy. I don't see much "tapering" in the legs toward the ankle-- they're overall really wide. I want to like them but ... The shapelessness makes me think even a small (which I haven't worn in over 20 years) would still be unflattering.

The pants are a bit long for petite women. The fit is okay, but although the fabric is lightweight, it feels a bit rough and not very comfortable to wear.

again, this pants is nowhere near a size 10. BR has never disappointed me with sizing and fir simce 2002. I have silar one i bought last summer but this one is 2 sizes above what I ordered. since it is on clearance, it is not returnable. deceptive way of getting tid of inventory by BR
