This is such a beautiful skirt! I found it ran one size smaller than I usually wear. The color is gorgeous and the length, slit, etc are just perfect. I was worried the slit was going to be high because of some reviews but I didn't find that to be the case. Fantastic price too. Thanks banana republi...c! I can't wait to wear this.
Unless you want your backside hanging out, don't bother. The slit comes up to 3" below my tush (size 4). If I size up so that it hangs lower, it will be completely frumpy. Unless you want to spend time and/or money sewing up the slit, you still not be able to wear this to work or Church without si...zing up to dumpiness. BRF should know its consumers better. Our clothes need to function in the world. It was completely fine until I turned around. Very disappointing. Cut for elegance, not for hooch. The skirt would have been just as sexy and flattering without the peep show in the back. Other details: I am 5'7 and hourglass, and it comes to mid shin and otherwise fits great.
