I love these shoes. I would NOT size up. It depends on the manufacturer— had I went with reading their size chart; it would have put me at a size "9". I figured since they're loafers— maybe get the higher end of the size I usually wear. It depends on the brand, and since it varies widely it's a crap...shoot. I chose a size 8.5. For reference my feet measure 250mm. I think they are leather but it's low quality and it's made in china (sticker on bottom). I found these fit me better than other brands. They crease almost immediately—- but I don't mind the worn in look. They're beautiful and a classic style.
This loafer does not look like leather at all. The shiny, glossy finish looks like plastic. One of the shoes creases badly when it flexes during walking as if the "leather" was cut on a bias.. Also, they run large. I always wear an 8M. Same size here, but the heels slip when walking, probably d...ue to the stiff, plastic feel and texture. On the plus side the styling is nice. Good shape and flattering on the foot. I'm glad they were on sale as I would never have purchased if trying on in person.

They are soooo hard, difficult to walk on. And they hurt your feet soo much, they run big too. Very disappointing on those shoes ! And you can't return or exchange DO NO BUY!
