I love this shirt so much that I would wear it every day if I could (and it's merino, so...). Buttery soft, a perfect weight (it will warm you up a little, but it's incredibly breathable), and a fantastic cut that transforms easily between professional and casual, making this a great shirt for all o...ccasions. Honestly, my only qualm with this shirt is that it doesn't come in more colors—could we have that lovely forest green y'all released the turtleneck in, or a purple? Personally, I'd scoop up this shirt in almost any color—it's a bit of a bummer that right now, the options lean toward the muted side. Some other reviewers were commenting on fit—I find this true to size (I'm 5'8" and usually wear a 4, and a small—my normal BR size—fit me perfectly). As the model photos show, this shirt is not meant to be super fitted, but it can appear more fitted when tucked in. I worried when ordering that the look might be frumpy (was this a shirt that only looked good on the model?), but that buttery fabric really makes it work. The one fit concern I could see folks having is the low neck—if you prefer to avoid low necklines, this one probably isn't for you. All in all...if you're like me and browsing reviews right now because you're on the fence, just try this shirt! Banana Republic also has a comparatively breezy return process, so if you don't love the shirt as much as I did, hey, at least you'll know for sure. :)
Shirt is okay. I removed the tags and washed it and upon grabbing it from the wash it smelled AWFUL. Will have to wash it multiple times and praying the dye smell will go away. Nothing else in the load of laundry smelled, just this shirt. If I had known I wouldn't have taken the tags off.

As others have said, the colour is a little on the pink side. Works for me, though. I'm 5'8" and 125lbs and I usually wear a small. Had to buy an xs bc that's all the was left. Still - it fits beautifully!

I love these sweaters! I ordered the black one and was hooked. I quickly ordered the blue and gray ones. I would order the camel but it's out of stock in my size. Someone else described them as thin, but they are quality light-weight merino which washes and wears beautifully. They are perfect for spring/fall or a chilly summer night. They pack well and I even take them in the winter and layer with a scarf for more warmth. The sweaters are a great length - not too long but definitely not cropped. They make a casual outfit look polished.
