I have bought several versions of this cardigan and this is the best one yet. I thought it looked a little shorter in the pics, and it is. Since they aren't making petite sweaters anymore I guess, I'm so happy to get these. I ordered the navy and black in medium and the fit is perfect at 5'2, 138lbs..., 36C. I can button it for a fitted look or leave it open and it will still lay over my bust and stay put. The length of the sweater is 23" from top to bottom in the middle back. I wish BR would give the measurement instead of saying "hits at hip" since that's different for everyone. The fabric is light, but has enough substance to hang neatly on the body. 10/10 on this one!
I've ordered several items from Banana Republic Factory and have been extremely happy. In particular, I like the Forever sweater line. I have this sweater in the Preppy Navy and decided to order it in the Charcoal. When it arrived, I could clearly see, right out the package, that it was significa...ntly shorter than my navy one. I checked the label thinking maybe it was a petite. It's not and it actually doesn't even come in a petite. Not sure what happened here, but it's obviously going back.

Bought this V-neck cardigan in the dark brown color which is great. I have other forever sweaters from this brand and I like the fact that they are a good quality, mostly cotton and are a thinner sweater without bulk. They hold up well with cold water, delicate wash, and line dry. Purchased this one in size medium, which I can then layer if wish with little more room. (5'4.5",130lb,34c) will probably buy more colors. #sweepstakes
