Purchased for an early fall wedding. I am thick in the waist and this is actually quite flattering. It is fitted in the hips and flares out with a flounce skirt (hard to see this detailing in the photo). It is long midi length and I am tall. There is a hidden zipper in one side seam to make it easier to put on, easily overlooked. Heavy cotton poplin. The floral is a soft plum color, very pretty.

Where do I begin? There are no zippers on this dress. They expect you to pull it over your head. That might be ok if you are built like a snake. There was no way to get it on and I am at a slim weight. The delivery service stuffed it in my ail box and it was wrinkled like you wouldn't believe. Finally, the fabric was cheap. I usually like Banana Republic, but this was a disaster.

Lovely casual dress. I ordered the garnet color, which will be nice for early fall. The fit runs slightly small, but not too bad.

This is not the style of dress I would normally bye, I'm a classic shift type. But on a whim I tried it on, and love it! There are 2 things that made me give it just 4 stars - * it fits perfectly from the waist down, but the bust runs small. I noticed this in all the dresses I tried on during this visit, disappointing, and I'm a 36D so not overly large. I will need to either add a hook-and-eye or stitch it closed. Worth the hassle, though. * I don't like the sleeves, the way they stick out. I will probably remove them and make it sleeveless, otherwise you can't wear a cardigan or anything over it. Good thing I know how to sew. I plan to wear this through fall with boots, blazer, jean jacket, and maybe throw a cropped black sweater over it, so it looks like a skirt. Very versatile! I'm a size 8 or 10 depending on the style/cut, the 8 fit.

Beautiful fit, beautifully made. I ordered a petite size 12 and I am 5'2, 146 lbs. The skirt is a bit longer than on model, but I like that. Can be worn with a belt, if you choose. The top is lined. Love it so much!
