This is a beautiful form fitting dress that zippers up on the side. It is sheer, at least the green color is, so it is likely you will need to wear a slip unless you are at a beach resort and then I would say just wear boy short undies or bathing suit underneath. consider sizing up one. My normal dress size in Banana Republic is size 2, but the 2 was a bit snug in the bodice area so I ordered a size 4. Very flattering and versatile and could be worn to a wedding or on vacation. I bought a size 2 petite. Flowy fabric, light and perfect for the summer. the bodice hugs the body beautifully. Not see through at all. I got the navy color.

I must have missed this in the description but the navy skirt is completely sheer. I didn't find the detailing in the torso flattering on my size 6-8 frame. It somehow added bulk instead of slimming. Looks pretty on the hanger. Material is nice but at this price point, I don't want to wear a slip.

Purchased in two sizes and returned the larger. It is so pretty and ez to wear. Love the smocked portions as they really 'give' and confirm to the body without being too tight. Can't wait to wear it out!
