I really wanted to love this cap, but it's just not right. Firstly, the faux leather strap at the back would be better as fabric as it's the kind of vinyl leather (my guess because there's no info on the tag or online) that starts to peel after a year or so, but I'd deal with it if not for the other things. Secondly, the whole cap is lined with what appears to be a poly or other synthetic fabric, again the details not disclosed (in my opinion, this destroys the breathability of the hat). Thirdly, and most disappointingly, the construction of the seams of the hat and the brim don't quite match up, requiring the wearer to either wear the hat a little cock eye for the middle seam of the hat to look straight or the brim to be cock eye. Even for the discounted price, the cap isn't a keeper. Overall, disappointed, but also not surprised as I'm never impressed with Gap or BR Factory—seems like an excuse to sell cheap things at a high price piggy-backing off the rep of the regular Gap or BR brands.

Comfortable in hot weather and look great.
