Great material - got the white & it isn't see through at all. However the scoop depth & width of the shoulder opening is way too wide for the average woman. I'm tall with a swimmers build - 5ft10, 140 lbs & broad shoulders. I got the small and the shoulders were too wide to stay up & scoop so deep t...hat 1/2 my bra showed. Order at least 2 sizes down. Otherwise a great top!
For one, it's my first time shopping at banana republic, and they messed up my order. They gave me a brown sweater instead of the black scoop neck. However, I did receive the white scoop neck. While it is made out of a thick material, I can tell that a few times in the wash will tear it apart. It al...so arrived with various gray stains and loose threads. I got the XS, and somehow it was still too big (I am not that petite, look at weight & height for reference). The scoop was incredibly low, and you can't adjust it or the fabric will bunch at the sides. It's an okay fit in the arms but the stomach area is weirdly baggy—not flattering.

I bought a couple of these because I was going for surgery and I wanted something soft to wear with pajama pants, they are absolutely gorgeous and so soft, they feel great on and I can't wait to be able to wear them out, they're low cut but I wear mine with a little spaghetti strap bra and it looks cute, I hope they make more in tons of colors

Too low cut. Doesn't lay properly because of cut. Waist too tight. Shoulder fabric falls off shoulders because of cut. Wish I could return it but it's final sale. Cannot wear backwards because of cut. Highly do not recommend this top.
