I'm 5'5", 169 lbs, short -ish legs, slightly pudgy thighs. Waist 35, hips 44 and I got a M. I can't believe I finally found the perfect linen blend pants! White is slightly see-through but ok with flesh tone undies. BR's advice is: size down, so I did from my "normal" size L to M. Wow! The cut of th...ese pants is tailored, straight legs only very slightly tapered. Exactly the right length just at the ankle bone. The side slit in each leg looks nice, too. The material is linen blend and I look forward to less wrinkling. The pants are sewn with care and expertise, quality! Can be dressed up or down, I find they're very comfortable. The front is flat with zipper, back is gathered. This creates a very good and slimming shape. I will order another pair in black or maybe brown. Now I only hope they do not shrink in the wash.
I am Petite and was excited to see the "Tapered Linen Pull-On Pant" on sale for a really good price. I had to order them online because there no longer is a store where I live. However, even though packaged in plastic and folded, they came completely wrinkled. So much so that I will have to take the...m to the cleaners to get pressed, which is now an extra cost. The fabric is a linen blend but very stiff and not as comfortable as I had hoped. I would have preferred for them to be like the navy color in the linen and rayon combination. I think the linen would have been softer and more fluid. Better yet, I prefer them to be in soft fluid 100% linen. I bought them because they come in a 25" inseam which is shorter than most petite pant lengths these days. Being a petite under 5 feet, the pant lengths today are still too long so I will have to alter the hem several inches, another extra cost. And finally, the fit feels and looks more like a wide-leg pant rather than a tapered-leg trouser. So again, another cost to taper them a bit more when I go to get them hemmed. Altogether, with the blazer I bought which also has to be tailored in the sleeve and jacket length, it will probably cost me what I saved by buying the items on sale. It is so frustrating. Additionally, BRF forgot to include one of the pieces I had ordered in the package. In conclusion, please bring back manufacturing the garments with the quality and fit like it was in the early 1990's! It was 100% Soft Linen back then, inseam lengths were shorter, garments didn't arrive wrinkled in the mail, and not nearly as expensive to alter the hems. The good old days when it was fun to shop!

Love these pants! The fit on me was not as tapered at the bottom and fit more like a straight leg. Other reviews are accurate on sizing, they fit big, but I found a size that works.

I have been buying BR pants in store since 2002. size 10 and never disappointed. it is so presictable that i never had to return any. However, This clearance pants is size 14 even thought tag says 10. it's a deceptive way BR is doing for clearance items with no returns eap for loyal buyers expecting same sizing and fit.

I just didn't love these. Aside from being too big, they barely taper at all, and the fabric was not very linen-like. Unfortunately they were final sale so I can't return them.

I am a size 12 so I purchased a large which according to BR size guidelines should have been the correct size. Very disappointed because I like everything about these pants BUT cannot wear them because they are huge. Tried to exchange even for a credit but was turned down after so much time with customer service. I gave the pants away.
