This skirt is such a happy skirt with its colors and pattern. 😊 The pattern is not overwhelming like some BRF patterns can be. I can see wearing this with a t-shirt and some sandals to run errands about town, or dressing it up with a crisp white button down, some heels, and some nice jewelry to go... to go or lunch with the ladies. I personally bought the collared white linen tee to go with it for a more casual look to wear around town. The skirt has pockets- my fav for casual skirts! The material is soft, but crisp, at 60% cotton and 40% modal. It's easy to launder and easy to get the wrinkles out of it. It fits true to size. I am 5'4" and the length comes to just below my knees. It's the perfect spring and summer skirt, and possibly early fall if you don't mind the color for that season. So, you will have lots of time to wear it and get your money's worth out of this purchase! The elastic waist band ensures comfort while wearing. It is true-to-size; I am normally a size two, ordered the extra small, and it fit perfectly. Very happy with this purchase!
I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not listening to previous reviews that mentioned the fact the material at the hips puffs out a bit. Which is great if you're super thin. I, however, am already very curvy with a thicker torso and this makes me look bigger than I am. That said, the pattern is pret...ty and the skirt seems well-made. I did size down from my usual size and that was a good move. I'll probably just stick with wearing this at work where I don't care how I look. LOL
