I picked up the Banana Republic Factory ribbed t‑shirt in both white and navy, and they've turned out to be exactly the kind of basics I reach for all the time. The fabric has that perfect in‑between weight—light enough for warmer days but substantial enough for transition seasons and layering witho...ut feeling bulky. I'm petite (5'1", 94 lbs) and ordered an XS, and the fit is spot on. It isn't tight or clingy, but it also doesn't hang awkwardly the way some basics do on a smaller frame. It sits just right and feels comfortable all day. The ribbing gives it a little structure, which helps it look more polished than a standard tee. Overall, it's just a great, reliable shirt. Simple, comfortable, and easy to wear with anything. I can't say enough good things about it. Came back to order more.
I have every color made the last 4 years in this top, along with the ribbed racerback tank and the ribbed elbow length top. I love them, and practically live in them. I check weekly for new colors and was excited to see the new blue, so I quickly ordered it. They have changed the fabric! It's much t...hinner now, and feel almost cheap. I'm so disappointed! These are my go to tops and they feel like a completely different material. I went and grabbed one out of my dresser, just to be sure I wasn't going crazy and they feel vastly different, but the tag has the same material listed. 96% cotton 4% spandex. So sad!!!

Runs very small, I sized up from an XS to a M. I'm 5'2" 111 lbs for reference. However, once I sized up to the appropriate size the fit was perfection! Very high quality.
