I am typically a 28 waist or a 6/8 in bottoms depending on the brand. I ordered these shorts in size 6. I love the fit and length. The back pockets are flattering. The length is perfect for me. I'm 5'4.5. I'm thinking about ordering another pair.
Fit is okay, not bad, not great. It either fits lower and is a little loose in waist, or higher and goes up your butt. Length is good, material is good. Color is TERRIBLE. It looks NOTHING like the colored pictures above. Do not recommend if you have your heart set on a particular color/style.

I love the look of these shorts, however found the waist to be a bit tight. I ordered my usual size 6 and they fit everywhere but were tight in the waist. I sized up to an 8.

I always have a hard time finding shorts but these have fit the mark perfectly. They are well made, great quality, and good weight; not too short and not too long. And good price. I recently bought shorts from another store who shall relearn unnamed, that were three times the price and horrible quality. I was unsure of my size and ordered a 4 and 6. Both fit, but the 4 fit slightly better around my waist, which is the size I kept. I would say like other reviews that they may run a smidge larger than other styles. A great purchase!
