Love this pair of shorts, they are a nice weight, longer in length for us mid-40 year olds who don't want crazy short, but short enough to not feel like my whole leg is covered. Great color as well.

These are lightweight which is perfect for hot summer days. Both the light and medium wash are classic colors. The fit around the legs is very loose and airy (not at all tight while also not adding significant bulk to the lower abdominal area), but the drawstring waist is a tad snug compared to other shorts of the same size from Banana Republic Factory. I held the waist up to the same size denim shorts in a similar style that I ordered from BRF last year, and it was about 1-2 inches smaller. The length is perfect (not too short or too long). These definitely feel more high rise as another reviewer commented. Otherwise, if worn on the hip the inseam hangs too low and rubs on your inner thighs.

For tts. Adjustable waist. Large fits me as a size 12. Not too snug but also not too much room. Wish the material was softer. I washed it but it's still a bit rough.
