I'm a size S in every store, but for some reason banana republic does S a bit larger. I'm not sure if XS would be a better fit for me but S looks noticeably large specially around my chest area and armpits.This is my third shirt from banana republic and all hade the same issue. Not horrible but not ...exactly fit.
The quality of Banana Republic factory is far from anything worth buying

This little top has so much character .. it fits exactly how you see in the photo, it does run a little large , which gives the fabric a chance to lay on the body in an elegant well tailored way . I'm getting this for a friend of mine for her birthday and purchasing it in all the colors for myself!

Thinner sweater materiel top with a low neckline but is not too form fitting. I sized down to help limit the exposure of the lower neckline. It fits ok and looks ok; it won't be my favorite top. One of those tops that works better for some than others.

I have five other ribbed elbow tees and really like them. Thought this Henley style is a nice subtle change to the crew necks that I have. I'm a bit too thick around the middle so I size up in BR ribbed tees. It works out well. They drape without clinging and aren't too wide in the shoulders and too big in the armholes like other items when you size up.
