This dress should come with instructions on how to wear it. The website pictures do not let you know that the dress is open in the back. I thought I was purchasing a pretty shirt dress but was met with a confusing contraption that does not work for women with a larger chest. The ties don't seem as long as the pictured dresses as well.

I ordered this online on 4/9/26; as of today 4/21/26 I still haven't received it yet.

Bought this for a special occasion! I was aware of the back but it can be tied easily to hide the back - if you have a bigger chest, this may not be the case. I am 5'4 and 158 with a 34G chest and a M fit snug.

The dress is a sort of wrap dress but the back is in two pieces to potentially tuck the top in the bottom, but it doesn't stay tucked. The front wrap fabric is just under the breast- it's also not flattering - looks and feels like you are tying to hold up the bosom instead of tie the dress. Ties are short - not like in the photos. Not flattering, ties are placed high under breast and not at waist, back is open….its just odd. Really wanted to love it. Purchased the navy blue and the fabric was nice. Would have been better as a plain shirt dress.

This dress could have been perfect for work, but the back design completely ruins it. There's a strange flap of fabric at the lower back that's apparently meant to tuck into an elastic band, but it doesn't stay in place. Instead, it opens up into what can only be described as a "trap door" situation. It looks sloppy and unintentional. None of this is clear in the product photos, which feels misleading. Returning immediately.

Agree with all the comments, this dress is terrible! The back of the top is not attached! The fabric is nice but whoever designed this should be let go.

Love the dress and its style. I didn't realize that the back has an opening down at the waist which is kind of silly with everything else going on with the dress. I don't particularly like having my back exposed like that so I'll just throw a tank under it. Fit well. True to size.

I love this dress! I bought it in white to wear while on a cruise and it goes with everything in my closet so I knew I'd get a lot of wear from it. I know people are upset about the back being detached, but I love it! I'm 5 feet so I ordered the petite size large with is my normal size. It hits the perfect area and the cotton is very comfortable. I came back to get the dress in navy now and I will be wearing these dresses all spring and summer. I just love how the back is, it didn't expose skin, but you still get a breeze. If you're having a hard time coping with the open back, it's a quick sew.
