I'm 60 - 5'4", 125 lbs, 32DD - size small - I am pretty fit. The back covers my roles of skin and i'll stitch the sides of dress a tiny bit to keep the boob part up but it will not be a big eal for anyone else i'm sure. i'm very conscious of that area. I don't need a bra but .... The dress in yel...low is very sheer. If you want to see how sheer it is, look at the picture of the women wearing yellow and you can see her underwear through the dress. I need to make this work and will have to buy a slip or something. it's not shiny like other satin dresses, which is GREAT and a little more high end, the halter can be tied tighter to help lift it up, The length: i'll wear 4" heels and be fine. i've bought over 15 dresses online (cheaper versions) and this is the one I'm keeping for a wedding in Florida on the water. If i could wear the pattern dress, i wouldn't need anything underneath - i'm in good shape and for me, it lays nice and doesn't show bulges other than the stomach on me, if you're wearing the patterns dress, good underwear will fix that. for me and i'm in shape, i do not need a bra, it kinda squishes the chest theres a tiny tiny bit of stretch but nothing that holds you in anywhere. I find Banana Republic to be very very oversized on me and am shocked the small fit. i'm usually and xs or xxs in all their clothes, especially bottons.
I ordered two dresses, two different sizes and like the dress. I did have to get the back altered so it did not show my bra strap which was no big deal. Now, One of the dresses was returned via UPS on 4.2. It made it to the UPS facility in Nashville, TN and seems to be stuck there. I contacted UPS... and was told I cannot file a claim, it has to come from BR. I have asked BR to file the claim and send a refund before the deadline date to return passes. I have received zero help. First chat I was told I had to wait until 4.23 to see if the refund came. Then on Friday, 4.24 I was told it would be escalated and I would receive a call within 3 hours which never happened. I chatted again today and was told my order was delivered to me. I know that since I am requesting a refund. I was then told I was not called on Friday since escalation works business hours, well Friday was a business day. The chat rep would not allow me to speak with a manager and states she would send an escalation, send me an email and someone would call Monday. Well I never received an email. Very disappointed in BR.

fits perfectly, as described. I'm 5'2 so it's full length - not a problem, works with heels and flats.

Very tight around the ribcage. Fits well everywhere but there but also far too long.

This is a gorgeous dress, but it didn't work well on my body. Because the back is low and drapey, when I bent over the top front billowed down a bit and showed my side boobs. That may be okay for a young woman, but I am in my 60's and no one except for my husband wants to see my sag;)

Love the dress! I wear medium in everything and the length is perfect. I can dress it up or down by switching up the shoes and earrings. The fabric is great as it doesn't wrinkle. I'll be packing it in a backpack for an out of town wedding.
