This review is specifically for the wash with the cuffed hem. The hem is raw and is tacked at the side seams only (2 spots). When they are washed, the cuff gets un-cuffed in some spots and the denim frays all over the place. It's high maintenance to correct the fold and cuff and to cut off all the denim frays. They still look sloppy despite the extra time spent laundering and not in a cool, casual way. I'm pretty frustrated because I had no way of knowing how terrible these would look until I washed them—which means they can't be returned. Something else to note about these—the cuff creates a GIANT pocket. My kids put things in there sometimes like my pants are a tote bag.

I purchased the black and white in tall length, but they don't match. The white pair is clearly tall, while the black one is noticeably shorter. The length inconsistency is really disappointing, especially coming from BR. This shouldn't be happening. What's going on with quality control?
I bought these jeans three times because I really like the fit. However, each pair developed rips near the top of the back pockets, closer to the waistband—it almost seems like the pockets are pulling away from the back of the jeans. The first time, I returned them after about a month because I assumed it was just a defect in that particular pair. I then ordered a second and third pair in both dark wash and light wash, but unfortunately they developed the same rips after only about two months of wear.

Frustrated. Ive ordered every size in my wheelhouse and they all fit different. None well even though my favorite jeans are these in a lighter color. Why men get all these waist and length sizes while women get "your guess on size is as good as outs" is so outdated. Get with the program.
