I'd read through the comments and thought I'd be safe getting my usual size medium. But when I tried them on, they fit well except for the waist, which was about 1-2 inches too big for my 30 inch waist. These shorts are almost sold out but I would definitely recommend sizing down if you have a relat...ively small waist. I guess I'll have to have them altered, because I love them otherwise, and pay twice as much.
I don't care for the appearance of high waisted anything on myself. Probably due to my short frame and large chest. The fabric was decent, a little scratchy and lighter color slightly see through. Must be ironed otherwise looks a mess. Got a medium.

Of course I own many colors in this particular linen blend short high rise. I love the flax and black , but my favorite is the floral tan. It goes with the linen blend flax tops- as do the other linen pieces. I have found my favorite line of linen summertime clothing.
