I'd read through the comments and thought I'd be safe getting my usual size medium. But when I tried them on, they fit well except for the waist, which was about 1-2 inches too big for my 30 inch waist. These shorts are almost sold out but I would definitely recommend sizing down if you have a relat...ively small waist. I guess I'll have to have them altered, because I love them otherwise, and pay twice as much.
I don't care for the appearance of high waisted anything on myself. Probably due to my short frame and large chest. The fabric was decent, a little scratchy and lighter color slightly see through. Must be ironed otherwise looks a mess. Got a medium.

Really happy with these shorts…they are pull on, with elastic in back, but a flat front, for a clean look. As you order, remember that linen has no real give or stretch, per se, and fit me a little loose…I washed them in the sink with woolite, and hung dry, and had no shrinking

These shorts are a great investment. The flat front + elastic back is the perfect combination of tailored and practical. I admit I was between sizes so I went up a size and I'm glad I did because they don't cling and they look smooth and elegant. The length is exactly right too. They hit mid-thigh, which even makes petite legs look good. It's really difficult to find shorts that are refined but not boring — and these are it. Will probably buy another pair.
