Had these for about four years now, noticed they released Black and Grey and just got back with my black pair. These pants stretch well and are wonderful for working during cold or warm days, staying cool during the heat and warm during the cool days these pants feel athletic when bending down durin...g squats and cleaning ledges with ludging. They're the best pants I've worn and I love them, I don't find the wear on the button an issue at all the pants wash very good and dry fast! They are just fabulous. Love this fabric. BR the greatest, the waist over time got loose but I wear them with a belt so no issue with them being loose after years of wear and if I wanted to I can tuck in my shirt and they fit perfectly, belt it not. Sometimes I like to roll up the pant bottom and show my socks a bit, they fit right how I like them fit and straight.
I bought many of these pants for my husband because he loves the model, but the fit variations for the same size (31W 32L) are incredible! Some of the pants are notoriously bigger (not slim), even for the same color and size! Something that captures my attention is that the tags are slightly differ...ent between the defective (bigger) pants vs the slim fit pants, which could indicate different providers. This issue is more notorious among blacks (the green one in the pictures has a more slim fit as an example, where both are supposed to be the same size). I needed to return many of them; only 1 arrived with the correct fit. I hope Banana Republic can increase its quality controls with its providers to avoid this situation and reduce size variations in the future.

I love my pair of Flint Grey Slim Core Temp Chinos, but waist size 30 and above regular has been out of stock for at least 6 months. So either I have to go on a starvation diet, or find a time machine to go back to my 4th grade waist size! BR, will these ever be in stock again???
