I love the cut, the shape, and the length of this lightweight sweater. At 5'9", a lot of sweaters aren't quite long enough in the arms and body, but this one is good. It's a great layer piece! From the perspective, it gets five stars. I've now worn it twice. It's held up nicely in the wash on a gent...le cycle with tide and splash of fabric softener (important for my next point) and a quick iron when dry, but has one key feature that has completely turned me off wearing it. It picks up and holds onto every unpleasant scent it comes into contact with (not body odor). The first time I thought maybe it was just due to being new, so I washed it after the first wearing. The second time I thought it may have been residual (washed again). This last weekend I wore it for a quick flight and by the end of the day it smelled SO bad (residual food smells, jet fuel, and the other unpleasant travel scents you may encounter), I was ready to set it on fire. I aired it out for a couple of days, and the smell still had not dissipated by the time I put it back on for my return flight. Not sure if this is something that others have encountered, and I certainly can't return it now after washing 3 times, but still, it's something I will consider in purchasing this particular sweater again.
