i absolutely love these shorts, the fit and fabric are key! I have been living in them! They are perfect for just about everything, and I have re-ordered a few times so I have multiples. I have not ordered the black but do have all the other colors. I will say I only have one pair of the navy and th...at is because I would not purchase the navy again, due to I don't know why, but it collects and shows any lint like crazy, straight out of the washer!! Which does not look good !! I do think it is the same material as all the other colors, but for some reason this only seemed to happen with the Navy pair??, ( I can't speak for the black ones, because that is the only color I did not purchase any of ) So I do not recommend the navy ones. But I do love and recommend all the others except the black I cannot speak for since I have not purchased that color, but I am imagining it would probably do the same??!!!
I loved the look of these online and wanted an alternative to denim shorts. In person, they fit well but felt very stiff, but I decided to keep them. I washed them according to instructions and after that they looked terrible faded and curled up at the bottom, ironing didn't help much. I'm giving t...hem away because I won't wear them. I wish I had just returned them.

Great cut, good quality material. I have trouble with shorts— waist gaping, riding up in the back, etc. but these did none of that. They looked like they might be naturally baggy so I went with a small (between S/M) and I'm glad I did, they fit great, though not so baggy on me.
