I'm short waisted and have trouble finding dresses that fit, even though I wear a smaller size. I appreciate Banana Republic being one of the few stores that offers petite sizing. This dress is flattering and flowy. I believe it would pack well and not wrinkle. I ordered both the black and pink ...rose. I took off one star because the "pink rose" had zero pink in it. The one I received is black and tan. It's actually a nice colored fall dress, but not what was depicted in the web site. The "pink rose" looks professional when I pair it with a shorter black blazer. Either color can be dressed up or down and can be worn alone or layered. The side ties give you about 3" to cinch or loosen on each side. Because the dresses are simple, they can be worn alone for summer or layered with a sweater or jacket to bring them into the colder season.
I purchased the floral burgundy dress online in XXS. Fit beautifully. As I was hanging the dress I saw the damage. I should also note the dress was not wrapped inside the shipping bag. The dress was rolled up without tissue or plastic just placed inside the brown shipping bag. Very shoddy customer c...are and service.
