Love this in the chambray! I am just under 5'2", small chest and big bottom, apron belly. 145-150lbs and medium fit great. Large was too much. Fabric is great! It flows perfect, skims so not tight or bulky. I also tried the striped one but didn't like the stiffer fabric for my shape. It kind of flar...ed out at the bottom. I think the chambray is great for my business casual office and my life. Really love the dress! Been hard to find dresses lately for my peri body changes.
This dress is no flattering for petites, super long and wide.

I usually wear a 4R. Ordered a small regular but should have gotten a XS Petite. Its long and theres a lot of extra fabric to cinch in. Otherwise, great versatile dress.

It is a lightweight soft chambray that can work by itself or with layers like a cardigan or blazer. I wear M in most stores so sized down to S (based on other reviews), which is a good fit. I favor a slightly longer sleeve. I used a seam ripper to pick apart the 4 stitches to unfold the sleeve, which made me like the dress more.

this midi shirtdress is super cute and would be a great addition to any closet for business casual or play. the fabric weight is light enough to work well in the tropics year round and nyc's late spring, summer, and early fall. unfortunately for me, neither the size xl (too wide in the hips and waist) or size l (too small in chest area, gapped) worked for me.
