6'1 188lbs and the 33x30 was a great fit. I did have my tailor take in the hips a bit, they seemed to balloon a bit in that area. The fabric was surprisingly nice for the price and the color pattern is beautiful. Other than the ballooning in the hip area these were a wonderful purchase and I'll wear them all summer.

Great pants—light fabric, little bit of stretch, well-cut. Dressy enough but can also go casual. Fit seems true to size, maybe a bit shorter than stated since they sit higher on me.

I'm going to copy my review from the matching jacket, because the same was true for the pants. I used the online size chart and measured myself with string and a tape measure, I clearly fell into the Large size, but when I got the pants, I literally looked like a child wearing his dads suit. Not even remotely close to correct on size, I ended up getting a different linen suit elsewhere which was better and also half the price of this one. The fabric was also kinda weird and too thick. A linen suit should be light, for warm weather weddings. I would've been sweating like crazy.

Stunning stylish and sophisticated while fitting the larger build NOT slim fit man! My 52 year old husband couldn't believe the suit fit his broad shoulders, and has a more standard pant fit instead of the tapered thin leg pants! This is the summer suit we have been waiting for!!! My husband is 6'1" 230lbs, broad shoulders. The 48 reg jacket and 38/32 pant are both perfect and don't require any alterations! Finally a summer suit that fits my picky husband! It doesn't ride up and has room for him to button the jacket, sit comfortably and isn't too tight in the legs or crotch (sorry- but that has been a problem for the slim fit styles that just don't fit men with a little tummy)! Thank you Banana Republic for remembering that not all men are slim fit!!!
