I bought these in a 26 petite. I normally wear a 25, but I read that these are a little small in the waist and I'm glad I sized up. I bought this in a petite by mistake and they are super short. I had them altered to lengthen and take in on the sides because they were to wide for my frame and height.... I'm 5'2". They turned out ok with alterations, but I ordered a second pair in the regular length. I'll just have them taken in on the sides too. Overall, the pants are nice. The material is thick and I like the way they fit in front and on my backside. I think they run small in the hips and backside, but that works for me.
These jeans in the dark wash are a nice color. I agree with another review that they run small in the waist. I sized up to a 26 from my usual size 25 in jeans. I made the mistake of ordering a petite size 26, and they look ridiculously short and wide at the bottom. I'm having them altered by a seams...tress because there isn't a banana republic factory store close to me. I think the regular length would have worked for me, but they are still super wide. I'm only 5'2".

I got a size 12 and they fit true to size. Absolutely love them! They are a little heavier fabric than I expected, but it's definitely part of what makes the fit/cut of the pant work. Highly recommend!

Most often I am always a size 4. At first when I received my jeans in black I tried them on and they seemed a little snug in the waist. Being final sale, no returns, I went ahead and washed them in cold water. While they were still wet, my husband helped me tug on the waist band in hopes to stretch a little and then hung up to dry. After they dried, I pressed them and tried them on again. It was just enough stretching in the waist and they fit perfectly!

I have these pants in three colors: tan, dark indigo and the regular denim. Unfortunately I ordered the dark indigo in a petite and they were way too short. I had a seamstress let the hem down. They don't look perfect, but I learned my lesson. I ordered the other two pair in a regular length and they fit my petite 5'2" frame perfectly. They are slightly big, but I'd rather have that than too tight. The width at the bottom of the pants are very cute. I also love the pockets.
