I bought my first pair of B.R. Jeans in-store (not Factory) in 2022 because I had a baby 1.5 years prior and was no longer a steady size 0 like I used to be… I simply needed to try-on the jeans in the store to figure out my new size. I picked a pair of straight-leg jeans and hit the dressing room. The jeans I tried-on and purchased from B.R. were a size 26 (or a size 2, shockingly) and they had ZERO stretch, were thick, very sturdy, durable jeans. Sizing was great, even a bit on the snug side honestly.
Disclaimer — I recently purchased two Fashion Nova jeans at a size 5 and they were a bit on the tight side for me, especially when I sat down or leaned over. Jeans sizing is all over the place! I KNEW I was NOT a size 2… but the B.R. jeans fit me, to my complete surprise.
Fast forward to 2 days ago, when I received THESE B.R. Factory skinny jeans in the mail… I ordered a size 26, same as the first B.R. Jeans I bought. I have some WIGGLE ROOM in these Factory jeans - they are very stretchy in comparison to the first pair I purchased!! Which totally is not a bad thing! They are also thinner-feeling when it comes to the material.
I wore these exact jeans you see above for most of today actually, and I caught myself pulling them up often. So I went back to these specific jeans on the B.R. Factory site and ordered a size 25 (0) this time, just to test the theories I have - Either I have lost weight and slimmed down OR these jeans are simply just sized differently OR the amount of stretch to them is a bit much and sizing down is the way to go. Regardless of the theoretics (hope I used that correctly), if I'm able to fit myself into a pair of size 25 jeans next week… I will be ecstatic! Even if I'm not a size 25 (0) in jeans from other companies/ designers (which I totally am NOT by the way, I checked), I will be stoked to wear these jeans every time I grab them off my shelf and will 10000% be repurchasing high-waisted, skinny jeans from B.R. Factory's website.
