I purchased the black, but want the brown now as well! The material is very soft and feels like leather. I'm not sure it reads 100% real, but that's okay. Close enough! It's a nice light weight that will work well transitioning into fall, and can be layered with thicker sweaters later on. There is a... bit of give in the material, which is awesome. I LOVE the elasticized back hem, not only does it give the jacket a good shape when it's open, so it's not too boxy, but it gives a nice snug fit when zipped. I purchased an L to accommodate my 38DD chest, and it accommodate it does! I'm 5'4" and even the sleeve length is good. I have a hard time with leather jackets b/c of my large chest, so was very pleased with the fit of this vegan version. Perhaps b/c of my chest, it sits at the top of my hips. It looks longer on one of the models. But anyway, it's as much as I hoped for! Happy shopping!
I am so disgusted by the smell of this jacket. I can't be live banana republic would put something like this out. Shame on ya'll. What a waste.

I had read the other reviews, and based on the pictures and the cut, I decided to take a chance. Most vegan leather clothing I see looks plastic and cheap and awful. This was on sale, and it looks like leather! It's soft and doesn't smell weird. All this to compare it to other vegan leather of which I've had a bad impression! I cannot wait to wear this with a dress, with jeans, with whatever.

This jacket is much nicer than I imagined. It actually feels and looks like real leather. I wanted a medium, but there was only small left, but it fits well. I would say that it does run a little big as others have noted. The only challenge is getting the wrinkles out, but once done, it's a beautiful jacket for the price.

I'm in love with this jacket! I've been looking for a moto jacket for a while and was a bit hesitant because I don't love everything cropped, but this was way less cropped than expected. It may be vegan leather but it is comfier than real leather jackets I've owned in the past. Extremely comfortable and does fit a bit larger than expected in the arms and in the body with the elastic back.
