Lovely will take me from work to play within minutes

I loved the look of it and everything I have bought from Banana Republic has been true to size. This top is "off". The arm holes are huge and it is too wide. It bunches in the middle which reveals my bra. It is also tight around my hips. I thought if I took up the low droop of the front it might look better.. it would unfortunately be shorter at my waist but at least wearable. Nope… the shirt is just constructed in a very strange way. It's too bad because it is an adorable design. I would NOT recommend purchasing this shirt. It was not returnable or it would definitely have gone back.

i bought the dress exactly like this top. the dress fits perfectly size medium regular. the medium regular top is more like an xxl top. so size down. im 5'3" 135 lbs 35aa 30 waist 38 hips the medium regular the breast area of top is under my breast area straps waaaaaay too long the width is more like size xxl. waaaay too wide...if i tailor the straps shorter the length of the top will be way too short. if the sizing were just like the dress would be perfect 5 star review. but since i have to shorten the straps and take it in...3 stars. sizing is horrible too boxy wide and straps 2 inches too long. its fully lined so taking the sides in will be difficult task.

I loved this shirt so much i bought it in black. I should have gotten a shirt size larger the first time around but thats more because I like a loosed fit with this type of shirt.

I'm 5'5, 120 lbs, size 34B chest, with a slightly short torso. The models are 5'10 wearing size S, but this shirt truly is TOO LOOSE. I got a size S, referring to the models for my proportions and did not realize how loose it really is. The straps are falling off of my shoulders and the lowest part of the neckline is at my solar plexus. Size down, seriously. Unfortunately, I bought this at final sale and cannot return it. Hopefully my local tailor can do something.

I loved the look of this top! But, it fits very strange. It's very tight through the waist.. not a loose fit like it appears to be. First time I wore it, it kept riding up and I would have to pull it back down . It would bunch out around my shoulders?? I have washed it and stretched the linen out on each side as far as I could stretch it. Fits a little better now but still odd. It could not be returned or I would have. Shame, great material and cute design.
