The reviews were correct saying to size up. I am usually a small top or 4-6 depending on cut. I ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly! I am 5'3" with a longer torso. I found the length to be flattering even though I have shorter legs. The straps are adjustable which was great to ensure a flattering fit.

I have been looking for a cutaway vest and was so excited to try this. I usually wear a size S or a 4 in BR (and have been this size for 20 years), but bought this in both a 6 and an 8 based on the other reviews. Neither one was right. The 6 squished my chest, and even the 8 I couldn't wear with a bra without the front gaping between the buttons. But also it is far too long. I'm 5'6" and have a long torso, and this was at least two inches too long. They need to make this in a length for average height people and separately carry a tall size for a 5'10" model. I tried the other linen-blend cutaway vest and it was also too long :( I agree with the other reviewer below that BR has changed their sizing, and not in a good way. Things are narrower and longer.

Saw some reviews saying to size up, but when I tried on multiple sizes, I only needed to go up one size, just by a bit. Normally wear size S or size 4 for tops at banana, size 34B chest, but for this top, I found a Size 6 to fit me, which is the size I am at Lululemon. Quality is good, even great for the price!

This top runs small. Normally a 4-6 in tops. Returning the 6 and hoping a size 8 will work.

I feel I have to say something here. What is going on with the sizes lately? For one, I am a M or L in tops of any fabric. I'm a 36D and actually have lost 12 lbs. So I'm not understanding WHY I couldn't fit into the size 14. It's almost comical. Because the matching shorts were a M and fit fine. This is very disappointing and frankly have never had this issue with BR before.
