As others noted, the photos look like a true black but its actually more of a washed/distressed hue which I really like. The material is soft with a bit of stretch and is more mid-rise than a low rise. The tall length is perfect for 5'11.

Excellent fit as usual.
I buy Tall sizes from here all the time and they fit so well, but.....these pants are so long they are literally a foot past my ankle. No idea why. I will have to take them to get hemmed to be able to wear.

These jeans fit great and the quality is nice. I am 5' 8'' and ordered a 2 Tall and the length works with a 3 inch heel. My only complaint is I wish they were at least mid rise and not low.
