I bought many of these pants for my husband because he loves the model, but the fit variations for the same size (31W 32L) are incredible! Some of the pants are notoriously bigger (not slim), even for the same color and size! Something that captures my attention is that the tags are slightly different between the defective (bigger) pants vs the slim fit pants, which could indicate different providers. This issue is more notorious among blacks (the green one in the pictures has a more slim fit as an example, where both are supposed to be the same size). I needed to return many of them; only 1 arrived with the correct fit. I hope Banana Republic can increase its quality controls with its providers to avoid this situation and reduce size variations in the future.

The slim core temp chinos are a great pair of pants. Comfortable and well fitting. These are very versatile pair of pants. Can be worn casually or dressed up depending on the occasion. I would of given a 5 star review, but shipping is horrible. I ordered two pair of the slim core in different colors but only recieved one pair the second pair never shipped. I called customer service for an update. Customer service canceled the original order and placed a second order. Its been four days and the pants have not shipped. I don't understand what is going on with Bannana Republics shipping. I am know hesitant to order anything else from Bannana Republic. Love the styles and quality dislike the shipping process.

These are great warm weather chinos. Good active clothing. Don't breathe as well as version with more cotton. Initially, they looked very shiny and plastic, but a couple of washes reduced the sheen.
